Hatha Yoga Asana
I spent a full day with a Jack Gescheidt shooting these asana shots. At the time, it felt like a great achievement. I'd spent 5 years, working like a triathlete at yoga and this photo album felt like a graduation certificate. Though I'm glad of what I've learned, I'm less proud of straight asana work now. So I realize this exhibition is a bit over-the-top. Nonetheless, they're sweet shots and might have been better if a yoga teacher had been in the room to occasionally redirect a limb or tell me to soften my jaw.
