Begun as a small shoring and foundation company in the early 1980s, Condon-Johnson & Associates has been transformed by Mike Condon and James Johnson. Mike and James, upon leaving Peter Kiewit & Sons, took control of what was then Kulchin & Associates, and in 1984 began transforming the company. Under their names, it now offers a full range of specialty foundation services such as Drilled Shafts, Sheet Piling, Shoring, Soil Nailing, and Ground Modification. Building on these strengths, Condon-Johnson & Associates is fast becoming a leader in the field of Heavy Civil Engineering Construction. Through careful management, the company has grown from 25 employees with annual revenues of $4 million to 350 employees with annual revenues in excess of $85 million. |

Mike Condon
President
After earning a degree in Business Management, Mike Condon joined Peter Kiewit & Sons as a junior project manager in 1974, where for the next thirteen years he steadily built his career and reputation as a quality-oriented, cost-conscious, and aggressive Project Manager. Joining Kulchin & Associates, Inc. in 1985 as general manager and vice president, Mike continued to demonstrate his strong management skills while he fostered a commitment to finding and developing innovative technology. Today, Mike operates Condon-Johnson & Associates, Inc., managing $60 million a year in revenue in the seven Western States with local offices serving Northern and Southern California as well as Washington and Oregon. |

James Johnson
Vice President
James Johnson received a bachelor's of science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis. Upon graduation, he joined Peter Kewit & Sons as an engineer in the area of foundation and underground construction. In 1985 James joined Mike Condon in assuming responsibility for the growth of Kulchin & Assoc., Inc. He spent three years as the Area Manager in Los Angeles and, in 1990, became Executive Vice President of the then Kulchin Condon & Associates, Inc. James plays a major role in developing the technical and innovative strategies for which Condon-Johnson & Assoc., Inc. has become so well respected.
