The Geo-Jet® soil/cement mixing process involves the combination of mechanical mixing and high pressure grouting, which forms soil/cement columns up to 60 inches in diameter and to depths of 120 feet. The process has been shown to be extremely effective for earth retention; ground modification for bearing capacity and seismic stability; and cutoff applications for groundwater containment and pollutant isolation.
Geo-Jet® has been used to install soldier piles, create secant walls, and decrease the liquifaction potential of dikes. It has been used to improve soils for bearing capacity and create uplift-resistant base slabs in water-bearing situations. Installation of structural elements in Geo-Jet® columns has been found to be an effective alternate to driven pipe and H piles.
